Cilantro Chutney recipe


INGREDIENTS:
  • Cilantro - 2 bunches
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chili - 1
  • Garlic - 3 pods
  • Ginger - a small piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 1/2 tsp
  • Water
PREPARATION:
  1. Rinse the cilantro well. Hold them together and chop them twice.
  2. Wash and peel the skin of the ginger.
  3. Chop the chili, garlic and ginger.
  4. Pour oil in a hot pan. Drop the cilantro in the pan
    and saute for a minute.
  5. Turn off the stove. Transfer the cilantro to a blender. Add green chili, cumin seeds, garlic, ginger, salt and grind into a fine paste adding little water.
  6. Transfer to a bowl. Serve with dosa, idly, samosas.
