INGREDIENTS:
- Raw rice flour - 1 cup
- Onion - 1/2
- Ginger - a small piece
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Cilantro (coriander leaves) - 1/2 cup (chopped)
- Green chili - 2
- Salt to taste
- Water
- Oil - 3/4 cup
PREPARATION:
- Chop the onions, ginger, green chilies, curry leaves and cilantro finely.
- Take rice flour in a bowl. Drop the chopped onions, ginger, green chilies, curry leaves and cilantro.
- Pour 1/2 cup of water and mix well. Add salt to taste. Add little more water so that the flour binds together. Knead the flour and make a ball.
- Make small round balls and flatten them.
- Pour oil in a hot pan. When the oil is heated, drop in the flattened vadas.
- Fry turning the sides until they become golden brown.
- Remove from oil and place on a paper towel.
