Plain Wheat Dosa recipe


INGREDIENTS:
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
PREPARATION:
  1. Take wheat flour in a bowl.
  2. Pour 3/4 cup water gradually and mix with a wire mesh until the lumps are gone.
    Add salt to taste.
  3. Pour more water as needed to make a little thin batter.
  4. Heat the tawa on medium high heat. Rub oil on it. Pour 1 large spoon of batter on the tawa and flatten it by spreading it clockwise starting from the center.
  5. When you see the batter on the upper side cooked, turn the dosa with a spatula.
  6. Wait for a minute and turn over.
    You can see golden brown spots on the dosa when it is done. Serve with chutney, chicken, beef, lamb or vegetable gravy.
